What is The Residence Club at PGA WEST®?

It is the Palm Springs area’s only luxury equity residence club. The development consists of a private enclave of 32 vacation homes, 12 of which are dedicated to full ownership, and 20 to fractional ownership. Homes are located within the prestigious PGA WEST® resort community of La Quinta, California. 

If I purchase at The Residence Club, do I own real estate?

Yes, ownership is evidenced by a real estate deed, which is recorded and guaranteed by a title insurance policy. Each owner is conveyed either a one-quarter or one-ninth undivided, deeded interest in one of the Club’s homes along with an interest in the clubhouse and common areas. Like any other Palm Springs real estate, an interest can be sold, willed, deeded, or placed in a trust.

What are the advantages of Residence Club Ownership?

Club ownership provides generous and flexible vacation use, removes the worries typically associated with vacation-home ownership, offers amenities and services not available to traditional second-home owners, and significantly reduces the financial burden through shared ownership of the residences and Club facilities.

As an owner, how often can I vacation at my club?

1/4 share owners receive a minimum of 7 weeks during club year and 1/9 share owners receive a minimum of 4 weeks during club year. Owners have the flexibility of reserving Club vacations well in advance, and also of visiting on a short-notice basis all year. Owners at The Residence Club at PGA WEST® also have the opportunity to reserve more than one residence at a time. Owners pay only the published housekeeping fees anytime they reside at the Residence Club's vacation villas. 

Is The Residence Club at PGA WEST® a typical timeshare development?

No, it is owned and enjoyed much like a private equity country club. Timeshares typically have the right to use only a specific week and lodging is limited to a specific unit.  Although Residence Club owners may request a specific home at PGA WEST®, they may stay at different homes each visit.

How many ownerships will be sold?

The Residence Club at PGA WEST® offers a limited number of ownerships in 1/4 and 1/9 villas.  There are only 3 – 1/4 fractional villas and 17 – 1/9 fractional villas. Therefore, the maximum number of fractional ownerships sold is 165.  Please contact the sales office with any questions. 

May more than one family or individual share a single ownership?

Yes, individuals may form partnerships to control an ownership or hold title as tenants in common.  It is up to the joint owners to allocate lodging for that ownership in compliance with The Residence Club at PGA WEST®'s reservation policies.

May owners reserve more than one Residence during the same time period?

Yes, because owners are not restricted to particular homes at The Residence Club at PGA WEST®, they may reserve more than one vacation home in La Quinta at any given time. It is possible owners could simultaneously reserve multiple homes for special celebrations and events.

Do Residence Club owners have guest privileges?

Yes, owners may invite guests to stay with them during their vacations and may also invite unaccompanied guests to use any of their confirmed planned vacations without a guest fee.

If I purchase, when will I begin enjoying Residence Club owner privileges?

Owners may begin using the club and enjoying all the fabulous amenities the club has to offer as soon as they close escrow.
